@redditor Not bitter at all. I'm a fan of the Oatmeal and have a copy of his book on my shelf. He was just the example I used of an established webcomic that received reddit's approval.

Reddit feels like a total crapshoot sometimes.. I've posted things that I felt SURE to get some upvotes, but then .. sigh.. Like you say, back to the drawing board.

Haha, that's particularly amusing to me because I did this comic a while back. It was downvoted in r/comics but did really well in r/webcomics.
